French Playlistism: L'anamour

French Playlistism

Directions for a mini-trip to Paris without ever leaving your home: dim lights, play tracks listed below, while drinking copious amounts of French wine and simultaneously dining on beef bourguignon (recipe to post soon) and  macarons.  Et voila!

Don't even get me started on Monsieur Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin. Obsessed with their epic look and his sleazy voice; leave it at that. Somebody take the scissors from me- I want to cut bangs every time I see her. How do you top having an iconic Hermes bag named after you? Epic. Someday Birkin, someday, you will be mine. My husband always tells me it is good to have goals.

Serge Gainsbourg: Je t'aime moi non plus
Ait: Ce matin la
Madeleine Peyroux: Je deux amours
Eartha Kitt: Je cherche un homme
Pink Martini: Ou est ma tete?
Corinne Bailey Rae: Paris nights/New York mornings
Gus Viseur: Paris je t'aime
Carla Bruni: Raphael
Brazilian Girls: Sirenes de la fete
Johnny Hallyday: Souvenirs, souvenirs
Charlotte Gainsbourg: Heaven can wait
