Auction Outing

Last week Santa sent me in search of my Christmas gift at the Skinner jewelry auction. I often go, sometimes buy if there are steals to be had, but always enjoy the scene. It is Boston Brahmin at its best- the people watching is not to be rivaled anywhere else in the city.

For such an outing (and post auction lunch with husband, aka Santa), I donned a casual but, hopefully polished outfit. 

I am shocked I still have the opportunity to wear shorts into December, made all the more weather appropriate by the luxe Vienne Milano thigh highs that the lovely Vienne sent for me to test drive. They are some of the most well crafted tights I have ever donned- akin to a light legging. Be sure to check out her line, a local designer and business well worth your support.
