Chic Holiday Decor

   

I'll be hosting the in-laws for Christmas Eve dinner again this year, so I took this as an opportunity to add to our growing, minimal holiday decor (courtesy of my friends at TJ Maxx and Marshalls). If you remember my post last year (here), it was the first time Mr MPChouChou allowed me to have a tree and decorate at all!

First stop for fun holiday ideas was my usual stomping ground at TJ Maxx of course- where I found these fabulous ornaments, both the giant I have hung over the table, and the smaller bird and snowflake variety that now adorn the white tree.

At my local Marshalls, I picked up these gorgeous vases and candles for a make shift centerpiece with my mini-potted poinsettia. They blend seamlessly with the pieces I picked up last year and give off a beautiful glow when lit.

Finally, the cocktail shakers, new to my bar, will surely prove Christmas Eve essential, when I mix up my newest cocktail obsession.....anything with Green Chartreuse (also holiday appropriate in its color).
