Tasty Gift Giving

Last minute shopping have you in a pinch?

When I find myself in a bind with last minute gifts to give, I turn to the oven, not the crowded stores.  In a sea of giftcards and impersonal knick knacks, a home made gift will always stand out.

Whip up a few different batches of cookies, macarons, truffles, what ever the holiday has you in the mood for, and then dress them up with pretty boxes, ribbons and tags.

I picked up these colorful boxes at my perennial haunt, TJ Maxx, and these vintage looking French tags at Papersource. Insert parchment paper, baked goodies, and write the recipe on the tag. Et voila!
