Maxwell's Silver Hammer

I wore this dress out to a wedding one night and then out and about the next day. Sequins, usually hard for me to wear but in this nautical print, suddenly unassuming and ready to go from night to day.

That being said, it was a very sunny day and I am sure to have blinded some people while out and about.

Hard to see in the glare but the dress also has lovely lace cut outs between the sequins. 

I am also loving my Stubbs and Wootten slippers, red velvet, one of my must have picks for fall, and a study in compromise between husband and I. Charlotte Olympia's proved a bit too pricey, other lower end options seemed not worth the investment, and then I found a pair that was just right. Goldilocks moment.
