Fall speaks to me.
It usually says....apples....cider....bourbon. Why not? It's warming, has depth, and pairs well with the aforementioned fall ingredients, apples and cider.
Time to put your newly stocked bar cart to use and build a sweet, spicy and savory cocktail to enjoy.
Maple bourbon cider, the name says it all, listing all the ingredients you'll need (save some cayenne pepper should you so desire to spice things up).
Mix all ingredients over ice, in a cocktail shaker. Shake. Pour. Garnish with cinnamon sticks if you want them to look fancified. Enjoy!
- 6 ounces Bourbon
- 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
- 1 cup apple cider
- Cayenne pepper
