Two weeks ago we were honored to share a very special day with some friends of ours, as Mr. MPChouChou became a godparent in the Orthodox church.

The Greek Orthodox church is usually pretty over the top in pageantry and decor, but this church was just the right amount of gold and classic elements, and the priest was a delight. He allowed for a lot of modern touches, which everyone appreciated.

One is typically required to cover ones shoulders in the Orthodox church, so I threw a lace jacket over this Lauren Moffat dress (which I picked up at Flock a few weeks ago)....felt very Sofia Loren, and classic sixties.

Gorgeous day, lovely people, beautiful event to witness.
