Horizontal Stripes, Always a "do" with Missoni

You know the old adage about not wearing horizontal stripes? Definitely toss it aside. Especially where Missoni, on sale, is involved.

I scored this dress on a recent visit with a Nordstrom personal stylist. It's something I probably would have passed over, thinking, no, those stripes will make me look wide. At the gentle urging on my stylist pal, I tried it on and wow, am I glad I did.

It is the perfect summer dress, almost totally demure until you see the back! I wore this to the office (with a sweater) and then out to dinner with husband later on in the evening. Perfect for the transition from chilly AC office to muggy al fresco dining.
